Concerned about your water quality?
Click here to read more about the Portage County WATER (Well Owners Assistance for Economic Treatment and Recovery) Program. This program is open to any local private well owners/users in the County that are concerned about their water quality.  In order to participate, well owners must first register for a free water test.  Based on the results of the water test, participants may qualify for up to $1,500 towards the purchase and installation of a reverse osmosis treatment system.

Please take notice that the Town of Alban, Portage County, WI, enacted Ordinance No. 2023-1, Establishing Speed Zones on Town Road NN, on January 10, 2023. The ordinance establishes a speed limit of 45mph. See “Town Ordinances” for full context of the ordinance.
